Time is our most precious asset and how much we really CAN do in a day depends largely on the degree of clarity of our thinking, and about what ii is we WANT to do…
In other words: Our intent.
Take a moment to think about exactly what it is you do with the first moment in your day?
Do you set time aside in which you define the intent for the day?
Whether it is with prayerful consideration of your spiritual goals, or repeating positive affirmations to yourself, doing an EFT cleansing, etc. choose to firmly let your new day start with the thinking process that permeates you with the FEELING of accomplishment and success. Let your consciousness absorb these first moments in which you feed it the images it needs to have the faith and confidence that it has a purpose. After you get up, perhaps still sitting on the side of your bed, when your mind is most fertile and receptive, impress your mind with exactly those ideas that shape your perception of your day.
And as you set your intent powerfully, with positive expectations about all that you want to achieve, you will gain confidence that you CAN achieve it.
To target your intent means that you shift your energy to accepting your “victory” with empowering thoughts rather than allow doubt to be your companion.
You become more receptive for experiences that are aligned with what it is you desire in your reality. Thoughts that you associate with your “ideal case scenario” bring about serendipitous events that unexpectedly turn up and prompt you with solutions, new contacts, or events that allow you to gain access to what you wish to obtain, or create.
You allow yourself to let go of current experiences that are perhaps not your ideal reality. You let go of thoughts that you use to sabotage yourself, excuses for why you have not achieved what you want to achieve.
Your reality is the reflection of your beliefs. Beliefs are thoughts you repeatedly think in a day.
Shape these beliefs so that they match your goals, and choose to only think positive and empowering thoughts about yourself, your family, your colleagues and your business or your job, etc.
Choose thoughts that generate strong images of what it is you wish to manifest and hold those images with vibrant technicolor imagery to bring clarity to the blurr of a vision which only sharpens with lazer focus as you adjust and modify the angles of the light that illuminates the perceived darkness of your situation.
As such, become the creator of these images with resourceful thinking which brings solutions.
This will give you enough drive to achive anything you set out to achieve, it saves you time because you’re less likely to procrastinate, it fills you will the awareness that time, once lost, it never returns and you speed up your process of manifesting because you steer clear of resistence and obstacles.
This method is often used by CEOs and athletes and in my one on one sessions, I often use it to help my clients develop a winning attitude.
When coaching, I use EFT in the L.O.V.E. process, which is based on the emotional freedom techniques by Gary Craig, and as such, my clients overcome deeply entrenched self-defeating beliefs, habits, guilt, shame, as EFT offers the possibility of psychological reversal.
(Read more about how powerful the energy meridian techniques are, and how quickly and effectively psychological reversal is achieved simply by lightly tapping on the Karate Chop and the “Sore” Points in this article.).
Even if today there are still moments in which you realize that you could be using your time more effectively, you can choose to take a gradual approach to improving a closer watch and resolve to eliminating time thieves. Generate daily the powerful habit of targeting your intent because your thoughts are your driving force.
It matters whether you think thoughts in alignment with your goals or whether you get lost in doubt or self-criticism.
Take note of your limiting thoughts now, release them consciously.
Translate them into empowering thoughts:thoughts that are in alignement with your goals.
Generate a vision of your end result and launch that thought like a mental arrow onto the target.
Be brave, bold and breathe deeply into your belly.
Schedule some time to “just breathe”, even if it’s just 2 minutes, and do absolutely nothing. Don’t even think.
And if you’re like me, the type of person who would outsource sleep if that was possible, note it in red on your To-Do list.
Shift your energy by keeping your focus on your goals and your desired BEST CASE scenario of the outcomes you wish to achieve.

Great post!
The first thing I do in the morning is check my email on my iPhone, often before I go to the bathroom.
I am using this method now. I would recomend this highly to everyone.
The first thing I do in the morning is read my bible. Then some breathing.
Thank you for putting all this great information in this one blog post.
Great tips
Looks like I have to look into this… The first thing I do in the morning is find my ciggies, and start the Senseo for a coffee, while checking mail on my G1 phone… Then I’ll realize… I’m late!!!
Great insight. So often people limit themselves to their own understanding of life and its elements when there is soooo much more for us when we truly release ourselves to God. He has a plan for each of us. He is unlimited. As His child — His beloved — I purpose and strive to release myself from my own limitations, rejecting negativity, and trust my life into God’s able hands. He promises liberal wisdom together with an abundant life to those who ask. Abundant life according to His standards, not mine. Unlimited potential. It’s His good pleasure to love on us and receive our love. It’s a love affair of the purest and highest order. Thank you for your T.I.M.E. I love it.
Blessings!
Self limiting belief’s hold so many people back, add to that the fear to change. All it takes is a small step to start the journey on to a more joyful, positive, productive life. Your process gives people the opportunity to take that first step towards a better life. Thank you for sharing this wonderful process. I look forward to chatting & talking with you more in the future.

Change your thoughts, change your world! Absolutely true and so eloquently stated. We have the ability to do, have and be anything we can dream. By stating our intent, providence moves forward… all sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.

I like the concept of Targeted Intent. Its a paradox of sorts simply because Intention actually directs our actions. Making it fully conscious, deleting competing thoughts and eliminating distractions brings clarity to the intention by removing the effects of counter-intentions. The result is conscious energy applied in each moment to produce our desired outcomes.
All in all a good reminder of how we can take command of our life with targeted intentions….which in turn moves energy. A sure way to add inspiration to our actions.
May the Force be with you!
