Ladies……. gentlemen…..

Thanks to you, I sometimes wear many hats in a day.

Recently, I received the question as to how I can manage to wear them all… well, since my answer was a little short, I decided to create this blog for (you know who you are).

It is true that my clients have to be clear as to what I can do for them. We all have our expertise and I love sharing mine, as this is really about providing service, and making it my business that you are successful. That way we both are. Does that make sense?

There is a thin line between these different helper hats…. and here I would like to take a look at them, to make sure I wear the right hat when we get to talk. I would not wear a surgeons hat… knowing very well that I was not trained in that! I am very responsible in that sense and glad others are also… most…anyway…

I usually don’t take on a client when I feel that we are not a perfect match. It really is all about knowing yourself and not simply go with the trend or fashion.

I work from home and I love being comfy and just avoid having to wear heels or high boots when I work on my computer. Still, never forget to wear the right hat for the occasion.

If my daughter or sons call, I wear my mommy hat.

If my clients call, it depends on what we put in our action plan, and what kind of agreement we have made as to what hat I wear.

When I wear my counseling hat, my clients agreed to work with me because we combine analysis with best practice. For that it is mandatory to bring to the table the research and data that can provide the comparison. We always go with what really works. To avoid reinventing the wheel, we look at what has been working well and what not so well, and modify the strategy according to the results of our analysis, without avoiding the issues that have not been touched before since gray zones are time bombs.

Another hat I wear is my mentor’s cap. This is all about sharing lessons about failure, and taking the processes and systems to that level where they can lead to YOUR success. It takes your commitment to this process and your ability to STICK with what you know works best! See how much similarity this has with counseling? Nonetheless, it’s not the same. The mentor has a blueprint that you just have to stick to and follow and that’s about learning from other people’s failure, not failing yourself. You save time, money, and a lot of negative vibrations.

Then there’s my coach’s cap. I see myself as the architect who has the blueprint that the client made, and agreed to build it according to that plan – he also is the activist: all I want to see is that my clients take ACTION and that they show me the progress, so that I can provide for a maximum of accountability.

Well, and I also wear the hat of a therapist. This is when I return to the old sites of your life’s history, together with you we travel in time and into the matrix as the quantum archeologists that try to find the lost skulls of our digging sites and collect the pieces of the puzzle, validate them, time them and reintegrate them into the complete picture of the ever more sparkling NOW.

And then there is the trainer’s hat in which I train others to do what I know works if you work it. I conduct regular law of attraction workshops, here in Brussels locally, and online. Please connect with me to find out more and send in your questions to info[@]life-procoaching.com

with in the subject line: LOA

This is to help those of you who feel that the Law of Attraction is not working for them, find the switch and fine tune yourself to bring mind, body and spirit in alignment with this universal law.

Did this help you choose the hat you would like me to wear when we talk?

Feel free to leave your comments, hit the RT button, share the article with those you love on Facebook and most importantly: Make sure you tell me what hat YOU like best!

Serendipitously,

Lydia
