June was born on Long Island but her parents raised her on a private organic farm in the Catskill Mountains, where she lived and inherited her father’s, passion for organic farming. This gave her the perfect foundation for her thriving businesses today. June is an authority in the organic industry, who has a true love for nature. She is studying bees, is an outspoken environmentalist and educator, a passionate activist in the organic movement, and continues to volunteer as a Master Composter at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She also volunteers at Cornell’s Cooperative Extension as a Master Gardener intern. 12 years ago she launched Kitchen Coaches, Inc., in which she teaches over 900 culinary, nutritional and horticultural programs. June founded OrganicUniverse.com, and the Long Island Business Exchange, where she is acting Chairwoman and President today. June is an active member of numerous horticultural societies in New York, as well as North America.
